Who doesn't love the colors the season of change brings every year?
I painted this plein air piece during my one month residency at Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming. It was during October of 2017, so autumn was in full bloom in Wyoming. And to my excitement, when I saw this view, there were herds of cattle all over. Some even visited me at the side of the road where I was set up. Hence the title, "Cows and Colors."
This small painting would do well in a home of earthy and fall colors, who enjoys autumn aesthetic, and is about that country life.
