I'm not sure why painting grapes came easier for me than flowers, but alas. It was in learning this painting technique by Lian Quan Zhen that I realized the compelling nature of playing between abstraction and realism.
The frame is weathered red, and these grapes have been looking for a home for some time now. I personally think this would look beautiful in a bright kitchen.
