This was an experiment using crackle paste, which created the textures that look like if you were looking at a city from a plane above. I also love finding shapes in abstracted mess, and pulled out a butterfly wing that was taking form in my eye. Some have told me it looks like a jeweled city from above, some say they see a part of a skull. It's so interesting what different people see in the same image!
