Painted from reference taken during my study abroad semester in South Korea. Bukhansan is the name of the mountain I had to hike up with my fellow classmates in an Oriental painting class. The three tree trunks remind me of that difficult hike, how sweaty and tired I’d absolutely be, and the relentless beauty of nature in South Korea.
